Vail Harding Joins Sturgis Bank Community Board

Sturgis Bank is pleased to announce that Vail Harding, President of Vail Rubber Works and St. Joseph resident, has joined their North Berrien County Community Board.

Bob Burch, Senior Vice President and Berrien County Community President, said, “Vail is a proven leader who is highly regarded in the twin cities community. He is a welcome addition to the strong team we have built in Berrien County.”

Vail has worked for Vail Rubber Works since 1998, serving in a variety of roles before becoming President in 2020. He is a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church, the Elks Lodge, the St. Joseph FOP, and the Berrien County Workforce Development Board of Directors. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Grand Valley State University.

Regarding his appointment to the board, Vail stated “I am very excited about joining Sturgis Bank and sharing the value of banking with Bob Burch and the local team with other business leaders in our community.”

Vail joins current members of the North Berrien County Community Board of Sturgis Bank: John Curtis, Owner of Lakeshore Petroleum, Inc. and Wash Station, Inc.; Gloria Ender, Owner of Freedom Finishing; Steven Gage, retired Sturgis Bank Western Market President; Phil Hosbein, Owner of Tri-County Bookkeepers & CPAs; Jason Hyska, CEO of Sturgis Bank; Matt Scheske, President and COO of Sturgis Bank; Keene Taylor, Owner/Partner of Real Property Management Realty Executives, and Jeff Upton, Chairman of the Frederick S. Upton Foundation.
