Jason Cape Joins Sturgis Bank as Vice President, Commercial Lender

Sturgis Bank is pleased to announce that Jason Cape has joined the organization as Vice President, Commercial Lender for Kalamazoo County. Jason joins Sturgis Bank with almost 20 years of experience in financial services as a business banking relationship manager, branch manager, and personal banker in Southwest Michigan. 

Matt Scheske, President and Chief Operating Officer for Sturgis Bank, said, “We are excited that Jason has joined our team. His history of helping businesses succeed in the greater Kalamazoo area will be valuable as we continue to expand our services.”

Jason is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business and marketing. He is an active part of the Portage Community Center, as a member of their Board of Directors and finance committee, a volunteer at many events, and teacher of financial education and entrepreneurial classes to elementary students throughout the school year. Jason also serves on the Junior Achievement of Southwest Michigan Board of Directors and the loan committee for Great Lakes Commercial Finance.
