Megan Yore Joins Sturgis Bank as Vice President of Marketing

MEGAN YORE JOINS STURGIS BANK & TRUST AS VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING

STURGIS, Mich., May 2, 2022 – 

            Sturgis Bank and Trust is pleased to announce the appointment of Megan Yore as Vice President of Marketing.  She will lead marketing and communications strategy and execution for all Sturgis Bancorp markets and subsidiaries.

            Yore most recently worked for Spectrum Health Lakeland as Chief Marketing & Communications Officer.  She previously served as Assistant Vice President, Marketing for Shoreline Bank and Chemical Bank.  She is a graduate of the American Bankers Association School of Bank Marketing and Management and holds the Certified Financial Marketing Professional credential.  Yore formerly held marketing and communications leadership roles in retail and higher education in southwest Michigan.

            Yore is also a graduate of the University of Michigan, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree; the Publishing Institute at Denver University; Western Michigan University, with a Master of Arts in English and Professional Writing; and Lake Michigan College’s Leadership Academy.  She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree in ethical leadership from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois.

            With a history of dedicated volunteerism, Yore currently holds the office of President of the Board of Trustees for the Lincoln Township Public Library.  She has served on over a dozen southwest Michigan non-profit boards of directors during her career and helped many regional not-for-profit organizations through pro bono strategic marketing and communications consultation.
