Rick McKeel Joins Sturgis Bank Community Board
Sturgis Bank is pleased to announce that Rick McKeel, a lifelong resident of Niles and owner of RLM Business Consulting, has joined their Niles Banking Center Community Board.
Bob Burch, Berrien County Community President, said, “Rick is a proven leader and has an excellent reputation in the greater Niles/Buchanan market. He is a welcome addition to the strong team we have built in Berrien County.”
Rick was President and CEO of New Carbon Company, LLC, makers of F.S. Carbon waffle products, for more than a decade, helping grow the company into a national brand serving hotels, restaurants, schools, and individual consumers. He is a graduate of Niles High School and Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Rick has been an integral part of the Niles community, having served as Varsity Softball Coach at Niles High School for more than 10 years, an announcer for Niles High School Football and Basketball programs for more than 20 years, and as a Niles Community School Board member.
Regarding his appointment to the board, Rick stated “I am very excited about the opportunity to serve Sturgis Bank and grow the brand within our local market. This talented group of people are truly customer focused, which makes it a great fit for me.”
The Niles Banking Center Community Board of Sturgis Bank currently includes Jeff Curry, retired President of Express-1, and several Sturgis Bank team members. Additional appointments to the board will be announced in the near future.
